[Song Playing: "Memory" From "Cats"]

I've Recently Been Inspired To Create This Page To Display The Words To A Collection Of My Favorite Songs. Of Course, I Have Too Many Various Favorite Songs To Fit Here, But Here Are A Handful Of Them.
Now, Please Keep In Mind That Many Of These May Not Wind Up In Any Particular Order And Sometimes Not In Any Category. I Will Be Posting Them Just As I Think Of Them - Which Will Usually Be Triggered By My Hearing Them On The Radio Or While Listening To Any Of My Music Collection. In Some Cases, Hearing A Favorite Song From A Particular Artist May Inspire Me To Create A Subdivision - A Group Of All My Favorite Songs By That Particular Artist. There WILL Be SOME Songs Placed Within SOME Categories (You Will DEFINATELY Be Able To Tell Which Are And Which Aren't). But These Will Be Mostly Posted At Random.
You Will Find a Very Wide Range Of Different Types Of Songs Here - Pop, Rock, Soul, Easy-Listening, Jazz, Blues, Hip-Hop, Country, Traditional Standards, Broadway And Movie Musicals, Soundtrack Hits, And More That Span All Decades, Ages, And Types! Even Some Pieces Music That Don't Have Lyrics - Mostly Film Score Orchestral Pieces (Which I Have A Great Love For), Will By Mentioned At Least By Title / Composer.
There WILL Be ONE Section - AFTER Elton John's "Candle In The Wind" And A Few Following Categories - Full Of Disney And Other Songs That Does Get A Bit Autobiographical For A Short While. The Songs And Their Source May Seem Rather Humorous, But Their CONTENT Is NOT. This One Section Represents My Strong Feelings And Reactions To My Surroundings And Events Of My Life - Mostly From My Childhood Days, But I Have Never Forgotten These Feelings And I Still Hold Many Of The Values Of Them Today. Beyond This One Section, The Songs Will Go Back To Being Random.
Basically, I Will Add The Song Lyrics Here Whenever Filled With The Inspiration To Do So! This - Like All Other Pages On This Website, Will Be A Continuous Work-In-Progress That Will Never Be Fully Completed - So Long As I'm Alive!

"CANDLE IN THE WIND"
Written By / Performed By Elton John / From: A Number Of Albums:

Footnote:
I Love And Am Extremely Moved By All Three Versions - As Well As The Two Outstanding People They Were Written For!

The Marilyn Monroe Tribute Versions:

"Good-bye, Norma Jean
 Though I Never
 Knew You At All
 You Had The Grace
 To Hold Yourself
 While Those Around You Crawled

They Crawled Out Of The Woodwork
 And They Whispered
 Into Your Brain
They Set You On The Treadmill
And They Made You Change Your Name

 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 Never Knowing
 Who To Cling To
 When The Rain Set In

 And I Would Have Liked
 To Have Known You
But I Was Just A Kid
Your Candle Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Did

 Lonliness Was Tough
 Toughest Role
 You Ever Played
 Hollywood Created A Superstar
 And Pain Was The Price
 You Paid
 Even When You Died
Oh, The Press Still Hounded You
All The Papers Had To Say
 Was That Marilyn
 Was Found In The Nude

 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 Never Knowing
 Who To Cling To
 When The Rain Set In

 And I Would Have Liked
 To Have Known You
But I Was Just A Kid
Your Candle Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Did

 Good-bye, Norma Jean
 Though I Never
 Knew You At All
 You Had The Grace
 To Hold Yourself
 While Those Around You Crawled

 Good-bye, Norma Jean
 From The Young Man
 In The Twenty-Second Row
 Who Sees You As Something
 More Than Sexual
 More Than Just Our
 Marilyn Monroe

 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 Never Knowing
 Who To Cling To
 When The Rain Set In

 And I Would Have Liked
 To Have Known You
But I Was Just A Kid
Your Candle Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Did
Your Candle Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Did"

The Princess Diana Tribute Version:

"Good-bye, England's Rose
 May You Ever
 Grow In Our Hearts
 You Were The Grace
 That Placed Itself
 Where Lives Were Torn Apart

You Called Out To Our Country
 And You Whispered
 To Those In Pain
 Now You Belong
 To Heaven
 And The Stars Spell Out
 Your Name

 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 Never Fading
 with The Sunset
 When The Rain Set In

 And Your Footsteps Will Always
 Fall Here
 Along England's Greenest Hills
Your Candles Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Will

 Loveliness We've Lost
 These Empty Days
 Without Your Smile
 This Torch We'll Always Carry
 For Our Nation's Golden Child

 And Even Though We're Trying
 The Truth Brings Us ToTears
 All Our Words
 Cannot Express
 The Joy You Brought Us
 Through The Years

 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 Never Fading
 With The Sunset
 When The Rain Set In

 And Your Footsteps Will Always
 Fall Here
 Along England's Greenest Hills
Your Candles Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Will

 Good-Bye England's Rose
 May You Ever
 Grow In Our Hearts
 You Were The Grace
 That Placed Itself
 Where Lives Were Torn Apart

 Good-bye, England's Rose
 From A Country Lost
 Without Your Soul
 Who Miss The Wings
 Of Your Compassion
 More Than You
 Will Ever Know
 And It Seems To Me
 You Lived Your Life
Like A Candle In The Wind
 NeverFading
 With The Sunset
 When The Rain Set In

 And Your Footsteps Will Always
 Fall Here
 Along England's Greenest Hills
Your Candles Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Will
Your Candles Burned Out Long Before
 Your Legend Ever Will"

"CIRCLE OF LIFE"
Written By: Elton John, Tim Rice, And Lebo M.
Performed By: Elton John On The Charts / Carmen Twillie On Film / Tsidii Le Loka, Lebo M.,Faca Culu, And Various Others On Stage

Footnote:
I Still Get Chills Everytime I Hear This Song! (The Good Kind) It Captured My Path And My Views Of It As I Travel It! I Related So Much To Simba! Right Down To Being Blamed For A Parent's Death By An Uncle! (Which Was SO Untrue And Unfair! See "My Memoirs" For Details.) But Mostly, It Was The Coming Of Age And Growing Into Leadership In Which I Greatly Have In Common With Him! Another Of My Favorite Pieces Of Music By Composer, Hans Zimmer / Scene Is The One In Which Simba Is Visited By The Spirit Of His Father, Mufasa, Who Tells Him That He Had Forgotten Who He Was And Reminds Him That He Must Stop Allowing Himself To Get Side-Tracked And To Follow His Great Destiny. That, Too, Never Fails To Send Chills Down My Spine!

"From The Day We Arrive
On The Planet
And Blinking Step Into The Sun
There's More To See
Than Can Ever Be Seen
More To Do
Than Can Ever Be Done
There's Far Too Much
To Take In Here
More To Find
Than Can Ever Be Found
But The Sun Rolling High
Through The Sapphire Sky
Keeps Great And Small
On The Endless Round

It's The Circle Of Life
And It Moves Us All
Through Despair And Hope
Through Faith And Love
Till We Find Our Place
On The Path Unwinding
In The Circle
The Circle Of Life

It's The Circle Of Life
And It Moves Us All
Through Despair And Hope
Through Faith And Love
Till We Find Our Place
On The Path Unwinding
In The Circle
The Circle Of Life

"HOLDING OUT FOR A HERO"
Written By Jim Steinman And Dean Pitchford / Perfrormed By Bonnie Tyler / From The Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "Footloose":

Footnote:
Speaking Of Outstanding People, I Am Greatly Inspired By Many Who Have Done Great Things And Motivated People Throughout The World - A Small Handful Of Examples - Abraham Lincoln, Eva Peron, Franklin D. And Eleanor Roosevelt, Mother Theresa, Princess Diana, Christopher Reeve, And COUNTLESS Others. But The World Is Also Full Of UNSUNG Heroes...People, Who, Unfortunately, Will Never Get The Recognition They Deserve. Anyone Who Suffers, Endures, Perseveres, And Rises Above Whatever Difficulties Or At Least Always Strives To - Is A Hero To Me - Be It Abuse, Pain, Poverty, Discomfort, Victimization At The Hands Of Bullies And Criminals, Hunger, Homelessness, Diseases, Disabilities, Underpaid-Overworked Employment, Unemployment, Prejiduce And Discrimination, Injustice - Any Of These And More. Anyone Who Stands Up For Themselves And For Others Is A Hero To Me. Anyone Who Sticks To Their Beliefs And Their Convictions And Their Goals No Matter What Forces Try To Oppress And Surpress Them Is A Hero To Me. Anyone Who Can Withstand Great Opposition And Not Lose Sight Of Who They Are Is A Hero To Me. Anyone Who Survives Not Only For Themselves But To Help Others Survive Is A Hero To Me. These Are People With INCREDIBLE Inner Strength.  To me, They Are ALL "Larger Than Life". Such People Inspire And Influence Me Every Day. I Can Only Hope To Turn Around And Do The Same For Others Someday:

"Where Have all The Good Men Gone
And Where Are all The Gods
Where's The Street-Wise Hercules
To Fight The Rising Odds
Isn't There A White Knight
Upon A Fiery Steed
Late At Night
I Toss And I Turn
And I Dream Of What I Need

I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night
He's Gotta Be Strong
And He's Gotta Be Fast
And He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The Morning Light
He's Gotta Be Sure
And It's Gotta Be Soon
And He's Gotta Be Larger Than Life
Larger Than Life

Somewhere After Midnight
In My Wildest Fantasy
Somewhere Just Beyond My Reach
There's Someone Reaching Back For Me
Racing On The Thunder
And Rising With The Heat
It's Gonna Take A Superman
To Sweep Me Off My Feet

I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night
He's Gotta Be Strong
And He's Gotta Be Fast
And He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The Morning Light
He's Gotta Be Sure
And It's Gotta Be Soon
And He's Gotta Be Larger Than Life
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night

[Intense Instrumental Bridge]

Out Where The Mountains
Meet The Heavens Above
Out Where The Lightning Strikes The Sea
I Can Swear There Is Someone Somewhere
Watching Me
Through The Wind
And The Chill
And The Rain
And The Storm
And The Flood
I Can Feel His Approach
Like A Fire In My Blood

Like A Fire In My Blood
Like A Fire In My Blood
Like A Fire In My Blood
Like A Fire In My
Blood
Blood

I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night
He's Gotta Be Strong
And He's Gotta Be Fast
And He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The Morning Light
He's Gotta Be Sure
And It's Gotta Be Soon
And He's Gotta Be Larger Than Life

I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night
He's Gotta Be Strong
And He's Gotta Be Fast
And He's Gotta Be Fresh From The Fight
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The Morning Light
He's Gotta Be Sure
And It's Gotta Be Soon
And He's Gotta Be Larger Than Life
I Need A Hero
I'm Holding Out For A Hero
Till The End Of The Night..."

SONGS OF COMPASSION:

"FEED THE BIRDS"
Written By Richard And Robert Sherman / Performed By Julie Andrews / From The Disney Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "Mary Poppins":

Footnote:
This Song Is One That Embodies My Belief System By Heavily Touching On Compassion. It Is About Paying Attention To And Helping Little Things And Seemingly "Little" Beings - Humans, Animals, And What-Not Alike:

"Early Each Day
To The Steps Of St. Paul's
The Little Old Bird Woman Comes
 In Her Own Special Way
 To The People She Calls
 Come, Buy My Bags
 Full Of Crumbs

 Come, Feed The Little Birds
 Show Them You Care
 And You'll Be Glad
 If You Do
 Their Young Ones
 Are Hungry
 Their Nests
 Are So Bare
 All It Takes
 Is Tuppence
 From You

 Feed The Birds
 Tuppence A Bag
 Tuppence, Tuppence
 Tuppence A Bag
 Feed The Birds
 That's What She Cries
 While Overhead
 Her Birds
 Fill The Skies

 All Around
 The Cathedral
 The Saints And Apostles
 Look Down As She Sells
 Her Wares
 Although You Can't See It
 You Know They Are Smiling
 Each Time
 Someone Shows
 That He Cares

 Though Her Words
 Are Simple And Few
 Listen, Listen
 She's Calling To You
 Feed The Birds
 Tuppence A Bag
 Tuppence, Tuppence
 Tuppence A Bag

[Very Emotional Instrumental Bridge     That Never Fails To Send Chills Down My Spine]

 Though Her Words
 Are Simple And Few
 Listen, Listen
 She's Calling To You
 Feed The Birds
 Tuppence A Bag
 Tuppence, Tuppence
 Tuppence A Bag"

SONGS OF PASSION AND SENSUALITY:

"MUSIC OF THE NIGHT"
Written by Andrew Lloyd Weber, Charles Hart, And Richard Stilgoe / Performed On Stage By Michael Crawford (And Various Others) And In The Film Version By Gerard Butler / From The Broadway Musical, Film, And Broadway And Motion Picture Soundtracks, "Phantom Of The Opera":

Footnote:
For This Song, I Feel That Michael Crawford Gives The Best Delivery. His Voice Just Carries It So Well That It Really Casts A Spell On The Listener! One Finds Oneself Completely Captured, Enraptured, And Seduced By The Combination Of The Music, The Lyrics, And Michael's Delevery Of The Song!! Gerard Butler Did Very Well Also In The Film Version...But For THIS Song, Michael's Voice Is Beyond Hypnotic!!

"Night Time Sharpens
 Heightens Each Sensation
 Darkness Stirs
 And Wakes Imagination
 Silently The Senses
 Abandon Their Defenses
 Helpless To Resist
 The Notes I Write

 Slowly
 Gently
 Night Unfurls Its Splendor
 Grasp It
 Sense It
 Tremulous And Tender
 Turn Your Face Away
From The Garish Light Of Day
 Turn Your Thoughts Away
 From Cold
 Unfeeling Light
 And Listen To
 The Music Of The Night

 Close Your Eyes
 And Surrender
 To Your Darkest Dreams
 Purge Your Thoughts
 Of The Life You Knew
 Before
 Close Your Eyes
 Let Your Spirit
 Start To
 Soar
 And You'll Live
 As You've Never Lived
 Before

 Softly
 Deftly
 Music Shall
 Surround You
 Hear It
 Feel It
 Secretly
 Posses You
 Open Up Your Mind
 Let Your
 Fantasies Unwind
 In This Darkness
 Which You Know
 You Cannot Fight
 The Darkness Ofd
 The Music Of The Night

 Let Your Mind
 Start A Journey
 Through A Strange
 New World
 Leave All Thoughts
 Of The Life You Knew
 Before
 Let Your Soul
 Take You
 Where You Long To
 Be
 Only THen
 Can YOu Belong
 To Me

 Floating
 Falling
 Sweet Intoxication
 Touch Me
 Trust Me
 Savor Each Sensation
 Let The Dream Begin
 Let Your Darker Side
 Give In
 To The Power Of
 Of The Music
 That I Write
 The Power Of
 The Music Of The Night

 You Alone
 Can Make My Song
 Take Flight
 Help Me Make
 The Music
 Of
 The
 Night"

"THE POINT OF NO RETURN"
Written By Andrew Lloyd Weber, Charles Hart, And Richard Stilgoe / Performed On Stage By Michael Crawford And Sarah Brightman (And Various Others) And In The Film By Gerard Butler And Emmy Rossum / From The Broadway Musical, Film, And Broadway And Motion Picture Soundtracks, "The Phantom Of The Opera":

Footnote:
Both Stage And Film Versions Are Incredible! But For This Particular Song, I Think I Prefer The Film Version Of This Number Because The Visuals, The Costumes, The Physicality, And The Delivery Of The Vocal Performances All Capture The Raw, Uninhibited Sensuality Of The Song Best!!

Phantom:

"You Have Come Here
 In Pursuit Of
 Your Deepest Urge
 In Pursuit
 Of That Wish
 Which Till Now
 Has Been Silent
 Silent

 I Have Brought You
 That Our Passions May
 Fuse And Merge
 In Your Mind
 You've Already Succombed To Me
 Dropped All Defenses
 Completely Succombed To Me
 Now You Are Here
 With Me
 No Second Thoughts
 You've Decided
 Decided

 Past
 The Point Of No Return
 No Backward Glances
 Our Games Of Make Believe
 Are At An End

 Past
 All Thought Of
 If Or When
 No Use Resisting
 Abandon Thought
 And Let The Dream
 Descend
 What Raging Fire
 Shall Flood The Soul
 What Rich Desire
 Unlocks Its Door
 What Sweet Seduction
 Lies
 Before
 Us

 Past
 The Point Of No Return
 The Final Threshold
 What Warm Unspoken
 Secrets Will We Learn
 Beyond The Point Of
 No
 Return"

Christine:

"You Have Brought Me
 To That Moment
 Where Words Run Dry
 To That Moment
 Where Speech Disappears
 Into Silence
 Silence

 I Have Come Here
 Hardly Knowing
 The Reason Why
 In My Mind
 I've Already Imagined
 Our Bodies Entwining
 Defenseless And Silent
Now I Am Here With You
 No Second Thoughts
 I've Decided
 Decided

 Past
 The Point Of No Return
 No Going Back Now
 Our Passion Play
 Has Now At Last
 Begun

 Past
 All Thought
 Of Right Or Wrong
 One Final Question
 How Long Are We
 To Wait Until
 We're One
 When Will The Blood
 Begin To Roast
 The Slleping Flower
 Begin To Bloom
 When Will The Flames
 At Last
 Consume
 Us"

Phantom And Christine:

"Past
 The Point Of No Return
 The Final Threshold
 The Bridge Is Crossed
 So Stand
 And Watch It Burn
 We've Passed The Point
 Of
 No
 Return"

SONGS OF ROMANCE

"HAVE YOU EVER REALLY LOVED A WOMAN?"
Written By Bryan Adams, R.J. Lang, And Michael Kamen / Performed By Bryan Adams / From The Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "Don Juan DeMarco":

Footnote: There Are SEVERAL More "Songs Of Romance" To Come. But I Heard This One Today For The First Time In Years, And Remembered How It Had Really Struck Me. It Is Really A Song About Being VERY Into The Person You Love - Which One SHOULD Be:

"To Really
Love A Woman
To Understand Her
You Gotta Know Her
Deep Inside
Hear Every Thought
See Every Dream
And Give Her Wings
When She Wants To Fly

And When You Find Yourself
Lying Helpless
In Her Arms
You Know You Really Love
A Woman

When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That
She's Really Wanted
When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That She's
The One
She Needs Somebody
To Tell Her
That It's Gonna Last
Forever

So Tell Me Have You Ever Really
Really Really Ever Loved
A Woman

Yeah

To Really
Love A Woman
Let Her Hold You
Till You Know
How She Needs To Be Touched
You Gotta Breathe Her
Really Taste Her
Till You Can Feel Her
In Your Blood

When You Can See
Your Unborn Children
In Her Eyes
You Know You Really Love
A Woman

When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That
She's Really Wanted
When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That She's
The One
'Cause She Needs Somebody
To Tell Her That You'll Always
Be
Together

So Tell Me Have You Ever Really
Really Really Ever Loved
A Woman

Oh
You've Got To Give Her Some Faith
Hold Her Tight
A Little Tenderness
You Gotta Treat Her Right
She Will Be There For You
Taking Good Care
Of You
You Really Gotta Love Your Woman, Yeah

[Instrumental Bridge]

And When You Find Yourself
Lying Helpless
In Her Arms
You Know You Really Love
A Woman

When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That
She's Really Wanted
When You Love A Woman
Tell Her That She's
The One
'Cause She Needs Somebody
To Tell Her That It's Gonna Last
Forever

So Tell Me Have You Ever Really
Really Really Ever Loved
A Woman
Yeah
Just Tell Me Have You Ever Really
Really Really Ever
Loved
A Woman
Oh
Just Tell Me Have You Really
Really Really Ever Loved
A Woman"

NOW BEGINS THE AUTOBIOGRAPHICAL SEGMENT...
WITH HEAVY EMPHASIS ON SONG-REFLECTION OF MY CHILDHOOD / EARLY YEARS

"PROLOGUE"
Written By Andrew Lloyd Weber And Tim Rice / Performed By Janet Metz (And Other Various Artists) / From The Broadway Musical, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat":

Narrator:

"Some Folks Dream
 Of The Wonders They'll Do
Before Their Time On This Planet
 Is Through
Some Just Don't Have Anything Planned
 They Hide Thir Hopes
 And Their Heads
 In The Sand

 Now I Don't Say
 Who Is Wrong
 Who Is Right
 But If By Chance
 You Are Here
 For The Night
 Then All I Need
 Is An Hour Or Two
 To Tell The Tale
 Of A Dreamer Like You

 We All Dream A Lot
 Some Are Lucky
 Some Are Not
 But If You Think It
 Want It
 Dream It
 Then It's Real
 You Are What You Feel

 But All That I Say
 Can Be Told Another Way
In The Story Of A Boy
 Whose Dream Came True
 And He Could Be You"

"ANY DREAM WILL DO - REPRISE"
Written By Andrew Lloyd Weber And Time Rice /Performed By Donny Osmond, Janet Metz (And Other Various Artists), And Ensemble / From The Broadway Musical, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolr Dreamcoat"

Footnote: This Is A Great Retrospective / Look-Back-To-The-Beginning Song, As It Is Meant To Be!

Joseph:

"I Closed My Eyes
 Drew Back The Curtain
 To See For Certain
 What I Thought I Knew
 Far Far Away
 Someone Was Weeping
 But The World Was Sleeping
 Any Dream Will Do

 I Wore My Coat
 With Golden Lining
 Bright Colors Shining
 Wonderful And New
 And In The East
 The Dawn Was Breaking
 And The World Was Waking
 Any Dream Will Do

 A Crash Of Drums..."

Narrator:

"A Flash Of Light"

Joseph:

"My Golden Coat
 Flew Out Of Sight..."

Joseph And Narrator:

"The Colors Faded Into Darkness
 I Was Left Alone

 May I Return
 To The Beginning
 The Light Is Dimming
 And The Dream Is Too
 The World And I
 We Are Still Waiting
 Still Hesitating
 Any Dream Will Do

 Still Hesitating
 Any Dream Will
 Do"

Joseph, Narrator, And Ensemble:

"May I Return
 To The Beginning
 The Light Is Dimming
 And The Dream Is Too
 The World And I
 We Are Still Waiting
 Still Hesitating
 Any Dream Will Do

 Give Me My Colored Coat
 My Amazing Colored Coat
 Give Me My Colored Coat
 My Amazing
 Colored
 Coat"

"DELIVER US"
Written By Hanz Zimmer And Stephen Schwartz / Performed By Ofra Haza, Eden Riegel, And Ensemble / From The Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "The Prince Of Egypt"

Footnote:
Though This Film And Soundtrack Didn't Come Along Until Far Into My Adult Life, This Particular Song Still Hearkens Me Back To My Birth And Sense Of Predestiny. I Had Always Strongly Felt (And I Was Proven Correct Later On Far Into The Future) That My Natural Mother Did Not Want To Give Me Up For Adoption, But That Circumstances Dictated That She HAD To. Then There Was The Abuse By My Adoptive Parents And The Grade School Kids I Had To Survive. I Had Also Always Felt That It Was My Destiny To Help Others And Become A Strong Leader. This Later Proved To Be Accurate As Well. I Grew Up To Have Organized And Run Charity Events And Will Continue To Do So On Grander Scales Throughout My Future - As Well As Taken Some Down On Their Luck Directly Into My Own Homes And Found Assistance For Them. I've Also Founded And Run A Number Of Social / Support Groups. This Song Combines All Of That. Add To That The Tones Of Exotic Culture In The Music And You Have A Song That Is Irresistible To Me! This Represents My Birth And All That I Would Have To Endure And Survive To Become The Compassionate Person With Leadership Qualities, Experience, And Background I Now Am / Have.:

Can You Hear Your People Cry
 Help Us Now

"OH, FATHER"
Written By Madonna And Patrick Leonard / Performed By Madonna / From The Albums, "Like A Prayer" And "Something To Remember", The Video Album, "The Immaculate Collection", The Tour, "Blonde Ambition", And The Film, "Truth Or Dare":

"It's Funny That Way
 You Can Get Used
To The Tears And The Pain
 What A Child Will Believe
 You Never Loved Me

 You Can't Hurt Me Now
 I Got Away From You
 I Never Thought I Would
 You Can't Make Me Cry
 You Once Had The Power
 I Never Felt So Good
 About Myself

 It Seems Like Yesterday
I Laid Down Next To Your Boots
 And I Prayed
 For Your Anger To End
 Oh, Father
 I Have Sinned

 You Can't Hurt Me Now
 I Got Away From You
 I Never Thought I Would
 You Can't Make Me Cry
 You Once Had The Power
 I Never Felt So Good
 About Myself

 Oh, Father
If You Never Wanted To Live That Way
If You Never Wanted To Hurt Me
 Why Am I Running Away
 Oh, Father
If You Never Wanted To Live That Way
If You Never Wanted To Hurt Me
 Why Am I Running Away

 Maybe Someday
 When I Look Back
 I'll Be Able To Say
You Didn't Mean To Be Cruel
 Somebody Hurt You Too

 You Can't Hurt Me Now
 I Got away From You
 I Never Thought I Would
 You Can't Make Me Cry
 You Once Had The Power
 I Never Felt So Good

 You Can't Hurt Me Now
 I Got Away From You
 I Never Thought I Would
 You Can't Make Me Cry
 You Once Had The Power
 I Never Felt So Good
 About Myself"

"BILL OF SALE"
Written By Al Kasha And Joel Hirschhorn / Performed By Helen Reddy, Shelly Winters, Charles Tyner, Jeff Conway, And Gary Morgan / From The Disney Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "Pete's Dragon"

Footnote:
This Song And Scene Were Both BEYOND Corny, I Realize Now As An Adult. However, When I Was A Little Boy, I Was VERY Into It Because Of The Combination Of My Being Adopted, And My Being Physically, Mentally, Emotionally, And Spiritually Abused And Made To Do All The Chores By My Adoptive Parents. So, I Couldn't HELP But STRONGLY Relate To It! The Film Had Just Come Out And I Had The Soundtrack. I Would Spend HOURS In My Room Privately Listening To It. I Played This Particular Song Over And Over The Most Because Of My Strong Connection To It. I Had Always Used To Wish That Someone Would Rescue And Stand Up For Me Like Helen Reddy's Character, Nora, Does For Pete In This Song. But, Alas...Being Back In The Days Before Child Abuse Organizations, Etc., No One Ever Did.

The Gogans:

"We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
That Says He Belongs To Us
We Bought Him Fair And Square
 Last Year
And We Own The Little Cuss
 Look Here
 Read The Writin'
That Gives Us A Legal Claim
Oh, We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
 With Dear Little Petey's Name"

Nora:

"I Don't Believe It!"

The Gogans:

"We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
And Lady, If You Don't Budge
 We'll Pick You Up
 Right Where You Stand
And Bring You Before The Judge"

Nora:

"No, Sir!"

The Gogans:

"That Boy
 Is Our Property
 Same As The Family Cow
'Cause We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
And We're Gonna Take Him Now"

Nora:

"You Can't Have Him
 You Don't Love Him
All You've Done Up To Now
 Is Break His Heart
 You'll Abuse Him
 And Just Use Him
 Look Out
 Or I'll Take You Apart"

The Gogans:

"We'd Like To See You Try It
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
 He's Ours Until He Dies"

Nora:

"Stay Where Are
 Just One More Move
 And You'll Get It
 Between The Eyes
 You Won't
 Make A Slave Of Him
 Even If You Conive"

The Gogans:

"Yes We Will
'Cause We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
 Right Here"

Nora:

"You Can't Have Him
 You Don't Love Him
All You've Done Up To Now
 Is Break His Heart
 You'll Abuse Him
 And Just Use Him
 Watch Out
 Or I'll Take You Apart"

The Gogans:

"We'd Like To See You Try It
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
That Says He Belongs To Us
 Fight All You want
 Won't Do No Good
 To Holler And Human Fuss"

Nora:

"Leave Town
 Keep On Going
Before I Can Count To Five"

The Gogans:

"We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
We Got A Bill Of Sale Right Here
 Right Here
 Right Here"

Nora:

"You Won't Have Him
 As Long As I'm
 Alive"

"CANDLE ONTHE WATER"
Written By Al Kasha And Joel Hirschhorn / Performed By Helen Reddy / From The Disney Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "Pete's Dragon"

Footnote:
Though There Was No One Directly Helping Me Through The Abuse I Was Going Through, I DID Somehow Feel Like I Watched Being Looked After - Be It Religious Figures, A True Guardian Angel, Good Spirits, A Kindred Spirit I Was Cosmically Connected To That Knew Or Had A Sense Of What Was Going On, Or Just The Collective, Universal Karma / Energy Itself...But I Was Always Convinced That SOMEONE Or SOMETHING Was Watching Over Me - Helping Me Keep My Strength And Optimism Through It Somehow. Whenever I Played This Soundtrack In My Room As A Child, This Song In Particular Always Made Me Aware Of That " Unseen Presence" And The Feeling That Someday, Everything Was Going To Be Alright.:

"I'll Be Your Candle On The Water
My Love For You Will Always Burn
 I Know You're Lost
 And Drifting
 But The Clouds Are Lifting
 Don't Give Up
 You Have Somewhere To Turn

I'll Be Your Candle On The Water
Till Every Way There's Warm And Bright
My Soul Is There Beside You
 Let This Candle Guide You
 Soon You'll See
 A Golden Stream Of Light

A Cold And Friendless Tide Has Found You
 Don't Let The Stormy Darkness
 Pull You Down
I'll Paint A Ray Of Love
 Around You
 Circling In The Air
 Lighted By A Prayer

I'll Be Your Candle On The Water
This Flame Inside Of Me Will Glow
 Keep Holding On
 You'll Make It
 Here's My Hand
 So Take It
 Look For Me
 Reaching Out To Show
 As Sure As Rivers Flow
 I'll Never Let
 You Go
 I'll Never Let You Go
 I'll Never Let
 You
 Go"

"WHEN YOU WISH UPON A STAR"
Written By Ned Washington And Leigh Harline / Performed By Cliff Edwards / From The Disney Film, "Pinocchio":

"When You Wish
 Upon S Star
 Makes No Difference
 Who You Are
 Anything
 Your Heart Desires
 Will Come
 To You

 If Your Heart
 Is In Your Dream
 No Request
 Is Too Extreme
 When You Wish
 Upon A Star
 As Dreamers Do

 Fate Is Kind
She Brings To Those Who Love
 The Sweet Fulfillment Of
 Their Secret Longings

 Like A Boat
 Out Of The Blue
 Fate Steps In
 And Sees You Through
 When You Wish
 Upon A Star
 Your Dreams
 Come
 True"

"A DREAM IS A WISH YOUR HEART MAKES"
Written By Mack David, Al Hoffman, And Jerry Livingston / Performed By Ilene Wood / From The Disney Film, "Cinderella":

"A Dream
 Is A Wish
 Your Heart Makes
 When
 You're Fast Asleep

 In Dreams
 You Will Lose
 Your Heartache
 Whatever
 You Wish For
 You Keep

 Have Faith
 In Your Dreams
 And Someday
 Your Rainbow
 Will Come Smiling
 Through

 No Matter How
 Your Heart Is Grieving
 If You Keep On
 Believing
 The Dream
 That You Wish
 Will
 Come
 True

 No Matter How
 Your Heart Is Grieving
 If You Keep On
 Believing
 The Dream
 That You Wish
 Will
 Come
 True"

"WHEN YOU BELIEVE"
Written By Hanz Zimmer And Stephen Schwartz / Performed By Sally Dworsky, Michelle Pfeiffer, And Ensemble / From The Film And Motion Picture Soundtrack, "The Prince Of Egypt"

Footnote:
Again, This Film And Soundtrack Didn't Exist Until Far Into My Adult Life. However, The Optimistic, Uplifting Words And Spirit Of This Song Fit Right In With Beliefs, Dreams, And Goals I've Had From Childhood To Today. To Say That I Fully Believe In The Words Of The Chorus Is An Understatement!:

Mirium:

"Many Nights We've Prayed
 With No Proof
 Anyone Could Hear
 In Our Hearts
 A Hopeful Song
 We Barely Understood
 Now We Are Not Afraid
 Although We Know
 There's Much To Fear
 We Were Moving Mountains
Long Before We Knew We Could

 There Can Be Miracles
 When You Believe
 Though Hope Is Frail
 It's Hard To Kill
 Who Knows What Miracles
 You Can Achieve
 Somehow You Will
 You Will When You
 Believe"

Tzipporah:

"In This Time Of Fear
 When Prayer So Often
 Proved In Vain
 Hope Seemed Like
 The Summer Birds
 Too Swiftly Flown Away
 Yet Now I'm Standing Here
 With Heart So Full
 I Can't Explain..."

Mirium And Tzipporah:

"...Seeking Faith
 And Speaking Words
 I Never Thought I'd Say

 There Can Be Miracles
 When You Believe
 Though Hope Is Frail
 It's Hard To Kill
 Who Knows What Miracles
 You Can Achieve
 When You Believe
 Somehow You Will
 You Will When You
 Believe"

[Children Sing Joyfully In Hebrew]

Mirium, Tzipporah, And Ensemble:

 There Can Be Miracles
 When You Believe
 Though Hope Is Frail
 It's Hard To Kill
 Who Knows What Miracles
 You Can Achieve
 When You Believe
 Somehow You Will
 Now You Will
 You Will When You
 Believe"

"CLOSE EVERY DOOR"
Written By Andrew Lloyd Weber And Tim Rice /Performed By Donny Osmond (And Other Various Artists) / From The Broadway Musical, "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"

Interesting Footnote:
(I Had Once Played The Title Role In Community Theater Many Years Ago...Ironic That I Relate To And Played The Role As One Of My Names IS "Joseph" [Which I Now Only Use On Official Paperwork For Personal Reasons...All My Names Are Actual, Real Names Of Mine...Just So Ya Know!])

Joseph:

"Close Every Door To Me
Hide All The World From Me
 Bar All The Windows
 And Shut Out
 The Light
Do What You Want With Me
 Hate Me
 And Laugh At Me
 Darken My Daytime
 And Torture
 My Night

 If My Life Were Important
 I Would Ask
 Will I Live Or Die
 But I Know The Answers
 Lie Far From This World

 Close Every Door To Me
 Keep Those
 I Love From Me
 Children Of Israel
 Are Never Alone
For I Know I Shall Find
 My Own Peace Of Mind
 For I Have Been Promised
 A Land Of My Own"

Ensemble:

"Close Every Door To Me
Hide All The World From Me
 Bar Out The Windows
 And Shut Out The Light..."

Joseph:

"Just Give Me A Number
 Instead Of My Name
 Forget All About Me
 And Let Me
 Decay
 I Do Not Matter
 I'm Only One Person
 Destroy Me Completely
 Then Throw Me Away

 If My Life Were Important
 I Would Ask
 Will I Live Or Die
 But I Know The Answers
 Lie Far From This World"

Joseph And Ensemble:

 "Close Every Door To Me
 Keep Those
 I Love From Me
 Children Of Israel
 Are Never Alone
For We Know We Shall Find
 Our Own Peace Of Mind
 For We Have Been Promised
 A Land Of Our Own"

"OUT THERE"
Written By Alan Menken And Stephen  Schwartz / Performed By Tony Jay And Tom Hulce / From The Disney Film, "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame":

Judge Frollo:
"The World Is Cruel
 The World Is Wicked
It's I Alone Whom You Can Trust
 In This Whole City
 I Am Your Only Friend

 I Who Keep You
 Teach You
 Feed You
 Dress You
 I Who Look Upon You
 Without Fear
How Can I Protect You, Boy
 Unless You Always
 Stay In Here
 Away In Here

Remember What I Taught You, Quasimodo
 You Are Deformed"

Quasimodo:
"I Am Deformed"

Judge Frollo:
"And You Are Ugly"

Quasimodo:
"And I Am Ugly"

Judge Frollo:
"And These Are Crimes
 For Which The World
 Shows Little Pity
 You Do Not Comprehend"

Quasimodo:
"You Are My One Defender"

Judge Frollo:
"Out There They'll
Revile You As A Monster"

Quasimodo:
"I Am A Monster"

Judge Frollo:
"Out There They Will
 Hate And Scorn
 And Jeer"

Quasimodo:
"Call Me A Monster"

Judge Frollo:
"Why Invite Their
 Calamny  And Consternation
 Stay In Here
 Be Faithful To Me"

Quasimodo:
"I'm Faithful"

Judge Frollo:
"Grateful To Me"

Quasimodo:
"I'm Grateful"

Judge Frollo:
"Do As I Say
 Obey
 And Stay..."

Judge Frollo And Quasimodo:
"...In
 Here"

Quasimodo:
"Safe Behind These Windows
 And These Periphets Of Stone
 Gazing At The People
 Down Below Me
 All My Life
 I've Watched Them
As I Hide Up Here Alone
 Hungry For The Histories
 They Show Me

 All My Life
 I've Memorized
 Their Faces
 Knowing Them As
 They Will Never
 Know Me
 All My Life
 I've Wondered
 How It Feels
 To Pass A Day
 Not Above Them
 But Part Of Them
 And

 Out There
 Living In The Sun
 Give Me One Day
 Out There
 All I Ask Is One
 To Hold Forever
 Out There
 Where They All Live
 Unaware
 What I'd Give
 What I'd Dare
 Just To Live
 One Day
 Out There

 Out There
 Among The Millers
 And The Weavers
 And Their Wives
 Through The Roofs And Gables
 I Can See Them
 Everyday
 They Shout And Scold
 And Go About
 Their Lives
Heedless Of The Gift It Is
 To Be Them
 If I Was
 In Their Skin
 I'd Treasure
 Every Instant

 Out There
 Strolling By The Sand
 Taste The Morning
 Out There
 Like Ordinary Men
 Who Freely Walk
 About There
 Just One Day
 And Then
 I'd Swear
 I'll Be Content
 With My Share
 Woe Resent
 Woe To Spare
 Old And Bent
 I Won't Care
 I'll Have Spent
 One Day
 Out There"

"THIS FROG"
Written By [Unknown To Me At Present] / Performed By Jim Henson / From The Album [Unknown To Me At Present...It Was On A Tape A Friend Had Made For Me Of Songs That Reminded Him Of Me In My Pursuet Of My Dreams And Goals.]:

Kermit:

"This Frog
Has To Go His Own Way
 This Frog
 Doesn't Care
 What The Other Frogs Say
 This Frog
 Wants To Be Happy
 And This Frog
 Has To Try

 This Frog
 Is Gonna Make It
 Or Know
 The Reason Why

 I'm Not Gonna
 Sit Here
 Like Some Dumb Old
 Bump On A Log
 That Isn't Me
 I'm Gonna Be
 This Frog

 This Frog
Has A Song To Be Sung
 This Frog
Isn't Going To Spend His Life
 In A Swamp
 Catching Flies With His Tongue
 This Frog
 May Slip And Stumble
 But This Frog
 Tries Again
 This Frog
 Never Will Crumble
 But Fall
 To Rise Again

 This Frog
 Is Staying With It
 Like A Tick
 Sticks To A Dog

 I'm Gonna Win
 You're Gonna Love
 This Frog"

Ensemble And Kermit:

"This Winning Frog...Aaaah
 This Frog
 Has Some Climbing To Do
 This Frog
 Has Some Dreams
 That He's Making Come True
 This Frog
 Never Will Falter
 No, Not Through
 Slush Or Fog
 This Frog
 Will Not Wear A Halter
 'Cause Nothing Halts
 This Frog

 I Made Myself A Promise
 As A Young
 Green Pollywag
 I'll Be On Top
 Nothing Can Stop

 Nothing Can Stop

 This Frog
 This Frog

 This Frog
 This Frog"

"PROMISE TO TRY"
Written By Madonna And Patrick Leonard / Performed By Madonna / From The Album, "Like A Prayer" And The Film, "Truth Or Dare"

Footnote:
Just As In The Case Of Madonna, I, Too Lost My [Adoptive] Mother To Cancer. Madonna At Age 6, Me At Age 21. Needless To Say, I Very Much Relate To This Song - Which Is About Madonna Coping With Her Mother's Death Still. As For Me, Despite All The Abuse, My Mother And I Had A Lot Of Great, Warm Moments, I Miss Her Terribly And Feel Strongly That If She Were Still Alive Today, We'd Get Along Very well On A Much More Regular Basis. Everytime I Hear This Song And Am Able To Focus On It, I Wind Up In Tears To This Day.
(I Was Not To Know Anything About My Natural Mother Till Much Later At Age 36. Luckily, She Is Now In My Life.) P.S. Of Course, Overlook The Words, "Little Girl", As I Do!:

"[Little Girl]
 Don't You Forget Her Face
 Laughing Away
 Your Tears
 When She Was The One
 Who Felt All The Pain

 [Little Girl]
 Never Forget Her Eyes
 Keep Them Alive
 Inside
 I Promise To Try
 But It's Not The Same

 Keep Your Head Held High
 Ride Like The Wind
 Never Look Behind
 Life Isn't Fair
 That's What You Said
So I Try Not To Care

 [Little Girl]
 Don't Run Away
 So Fast
 I Think You Forgot
 To Kiss
 Kiss Her Good-bye

 Will She See Me Cry
 When I Stumble And Fall
 Does She Hear My Voice
In The Night When I Call
 Wipe Away Your Tears
 It's Gonna Be
 Alright

 I Fought
 To Be So Strong
 I Guess You Knew
 I Was Afraid
 You'd Go Away, Too

 [Little Girl]
 You've Got To Forget
 The Past
 And Learn To Forgive Me
 I
 Promise To Try
But It Feels Like A Lie

 Don't Let Memory
 Play Games With Your Mind
 She's A Faded Smile
 Frozen In Time
 I'm Still Hanging On
 But I'm Doing It Wrong

 Can't Kiss Her Good-bye
 But I Promise To Try"

"WISHING YOU WERE SOMEHOW HERE AGAIN"
Written By Andrew Lloyd Weber, Charles Hart, And Richard Stilgoe / Performed Onstage By Sarah Brightman And Various Others And On Film By Emmy Rossum / From The Broadway Musical, Film, And Broadway Musical And Original Motion Picture Soundtracks, "The Phantom Of The Opera":

Footnote:
This Song Is Sung By The Character, Christine While Visiting Her Father's Grave. Despite The Abuse I Grew Up With, It Had Always Been Clear To See That Underneath What I Now Believe To Be Her Bi-Polar, Uncontrolled Emotions (At The Time, It Seemed bi-Polar Conditions Had Not Yet Been Discovered), My Mother Was A Sweet, Gentle Woman Who I Know I Would Now Be Getting Along With If She She Were Still Alive. When My Mother Was Her TRUE Self, We DID Have A Lot Of Great, Warm Moments. There Are Two Lines That Always Really Get Me - "Wishing I Could Hear Your Voice Again". If You Haven't Yet Read "My Memoirs", My Mother Had Been An Up-And-Coming Opera Star In Chicago Until She Gave It Up To Marry My Father. She Then Devoted All Her Talents To The Catholic Church. I Had The Then-Not-Fully-Appreciated Pleasure Of Hearing Her Beautiful, SO-Well-Trained Soprano Voice Practicing On An Almost Daily Basis. The Other Line I Relate To Because Of All The Wonderful Support And Encouragement Of A Handful Of True, Dear Friends Who Were Always Encouraging Of My Pursuing And Not Giving Up On My Dreams - Really Believing In Me Which Means The World To Me And I Think Of Them All WhenEver I Hear That Phrase In This Song - "Dreaming Of You Would Help Me To Do All That You Dreamed I Could":

CHRISTINE:

"You Were Once
My One Companion
You Were All That Mattered
You Were Once
A Friend And [Father]
Then My World Was Shattered

Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
Wishing You Were Somehow Near
Sometimes It Seemed
If I Just Dreamed
Somehow You Would Be Here
Wishing I Could Hear Your Voice Again
Knowing That I Never Would
Dreaming Of You
Would Help Me To Do
All That You Dreamed I Could

Passing Bells
And Sculptured Angels
Cold And Monumental
Seem For You
The Wrong Companions
You Were Warm And Gentle

[Soft, Instrumental Bridge Follwed By Loud, Emotional, Powerful Delivery Of The Remainder Of The Lyrics]

Too Many Years
Fighting Back Tears
Why Can't The Past
Just Die

Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again
Knowing We Must Say 'Good-Bye'
Try To Forgive
Teach Me To Live
Give Me The Strength
To Try

No More Memories
Long Of Silent Tears
No More Gazing Across
The Wasted Years

Help Me Say 'Good-Bye'
Help Me Say
'Good-
Bye'"

"ANGELS"
Written By: Robbie Williams And Guy Chambers
Performed By: Robbie Williams

Footnote:
My TOP Favorite Robbie Williams Song Is Actually The Newer "Feel". But "Angels" Is My Second Favorite. Whenever I Hear This Song, I Can't Help But Think Of My Departed Friends And Family. Especially My Mother. Despite Our Troubled Relationship When She Was Alive, I Feel Confident That She Has Been Fully Forgiven And Redeemed...Mainly Because I Prayed For Her To Be. I Think It Needed Me To Forgive And Redeem Her Because It Had Been Mainly MY Life She Had Greatly Distressed. But We Still Had A Bond Regardless And A Lot Of Warm Moments. I Feel She Is There When I Need Her To Be. I Recall A Few Nights In Particular When I Was Not Well And I Could Not Sleep No Matter How Exhausted I Was And How Desperate I Was To. Out Of Pure Instinct, I Called Out To Her To Help Me Sleep. Suddenly, I Felt This Warm Envelopment And This Comforting Presence. I Was Suddenly Filled With Images Of Me As A Young Child Again Resting On A Couch With My Head Just Above Her Knees And Her One Arm Over Me And Her Other Hand Gently Stroking My Hair, And The Next Thing I Know, I Was Finally Fading Comfortably To Sleep. This Had Never Happened - Never Had A Scene Like That With Her In My Real Life. But I Do Now. Since Then, Whenever The Occasional Time Hits That I Am Not Feeling Well, Or Have Too Much On Mind To Be Able To Fall Asleep On My Own, I Let My Mind Call Out To Her And Again And Always, I'm Filled with Her Presence And That Same Visual And Drift Off To Sleep. So, I Believe.

I Sit Awake
Does An Angel
Contemplate My Fate
And Do They Know
The Places Where We Go
When We're Gray And Old
'Cause I Have Been Told
That Salvation
Lets Their Wings Unfold

So When I'm Lyin' In My Bed
Thoughts Runnin' Through My Head
And I Feel That Love Is Dead
I'm Lovin' Angels Instead

And Through It All
She Offers Me Protection
A Lot Of Love And Affection
Whether I'm Right Or Wrong
And Down The Waterfall
Wherever It May Take Me
I Know That Life Won't Break Me
When I Come To Call
She Won't Forsake Me
I'm Lovin' Angels Instead

When I'm Feelin' Weak
And My Pain Walks Down
A One-Way Street
I Look Above
And I Know I'll Always
Be Blessed With Love

And As The Feeling Grows
She Brings Flesh To My Bones
And When Love Is Dead
I'm Lovin' Angels Instead

And Through It All
She Offers Me Protection
A Lot Of Love And Affection
Whether I'm Right Or Wrong
And Down The Waterfall
Wherever It May Take Me
I Know That Life Won't Break Me
When I Come To Call
She Won't Forsake Me
I'm Lovin' Angels Instead

Instrumental Bridge

And Through It All
She Offers Me Protection
A Lot Of Love And Affection
Whether I'm Right Or Wrong
And Down The Waterfall
Wherever It May Take Me
I Know That Life Won't Break Me
When I Come To Call
She Won't Forsake Me
I'm Lovin' Angels Instead
